Very few men are blessed with perfect skin.  We all have our fair share of facial imperfections...but you can do something about it.  Try these 8 facial care tips to get your face in shape!

1. Use the right cleanser.
  Don't use the same soap on your face as you do on your body.  Soaps made for your body have a greater concentration of detergents and less moisturizers and will be too harsh on your face.  Use a facial soap made for deep cleansing to unclog pores and remove dead skin.

3. Keep your face moisturized.  Most men skip this step, but you won't.  After you have cleaned and patted your face dry, apply a good men's face moisturizer.  Most aftershave lotions will have this quality.  Make sure to apply moisturizer on those days you don't shave.  This is most important in the cold and dry winter season.  Be sure to avoid products that contain mineral oils and alcohol.  The oil clogs your pores and the alcohol dries out your skin.

4. Use a facial toner. 
Toners cleanse and tighten facial pores and remove any dirt that was not cleaned away after washing and/or shaving. On days you shave, use toner before applying your aftershave lotion.  On days you don't, use the toner after you clean, but before applying your moisturizer.

5.  Watch the smell.  Avoid male face care products that are heavily scented.  You don't want the scent of your cleanser, moisturizer, and toner doing battle with your aftershave, cologne, and deodorant.

6. Use facial products made for men. 7. Oily Skin.  The most probable cause of oily skin in men is over productive sebaceous glandsOily skin can create a greasy look, promote frequent acne breakout on your face and back, and give rise to enlarged pores.  If there is a bright spot, I suppose it would be that oily skin is less prone to wrinkles.
